A Million Little Things season 2 episode 7 spoilers: Theo’s birthday

At the center of A Million Little Things season 2 episode 7 on ABC is something that we don’t get to discuss all that often — happy news. Think along the lines of Theo having a birthday! This is a chance for us to see the whole group get together, but there are probably going to be a few surprises sprinkled in here as well. (The title for the episode is ‘Ten Years,” which is a clear reference to Theo … but some other mysteries remain.)

The gang gathers for Theo’s 10th birthday, which is also a significant milestone for Eddie. Meanwhile, Delilah, Eddie and Katherine are at an impasse about revealing the truth about Charlie; Rome and Regina try to keep Sophie from getting too close to PJ, and Maggie helps Gary make a difficult decision about his dog, Colin.

We gotta say — any storyline about a dog is going to make us sob uncontrollably. This is a show about hitting you right in the feels time and time again, and nothing’s going to do it quite like that. As for everything else that is going on within this episode, we’re not surprised that there are more difficult decisions being made, given that we’ve got characters (especially Eddie and Katherine) who are walking a thin line about just about everything.

How is A Million Little Things in the ratings?

At the moment, things are going pretty darn well! To date, the show is averaging a 0.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which is down only slightly from the show’s season 1 average. This is a great retention rate for a fairly-new show, and it does make us wonder this: Are we going to get an early season 3 renewal? In an era where a lot of shows are bottoming out, the continued success here has to be something worth celebrating.
