Is Supernatural new tonight on The CW? More season 15 teases

Supernatural season 13 poster

Is Supernatural new tonight on The CW? Given that this is Halloween, it definitely does make sense for there to be another episode on the air.

Yet, the folks over at the network have decided to take another course. Clearly, they are prioritizing live viewers first and with that, Supernatural is going to be taking a one-week break. We do get it when it comes to the question of why they wouldn’t want another episode on the air right now. They recognize that there’s a chance there would be fewer people around and even in the final season, they want ratings. Also, they want Legacies to get good ratings after Supernatural — given that this show is not in its final season, there’s something preserving with Legacies. It doesn’t matter as much for Supernatural right now.

As for what we’re waiting for, the upcoming November 7 episode entitled “Atomic Monsters” is going to be fun. Think in terms of what looks to be an old-school monster-of-the-week episode. We know that there are a lot of people out there who’d rather not see a story like this in the final season, but the promo looks like it’ll be entertaining! Personally, we do also think that these episodes really constitute the backbone of what this show is — in a lot of ways, they make up the strong overall backbone.

Now, if you do want some additional scoop on this and the episode that follows, check out some synopses below!

“Atomic Monsters,” November 7 – JENSEN ACKLES DIRECTS – Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate the mysterious death of a girl and the disappearance of another. Jensen Ackles directed the episode written by Davy Perez (#1501). Original Airdate 11/7/2019.

“Proverbs 17:3,” November 14 – RICHARD SPEIGHT, JR. DIRECTS – Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean’s (Jensen Ackles) routine case turns out to be anything but. Richard Speight, Jr. directed the episode written by Steve Yockey (#1505). Original Airdate 11/14/2019.

For those who are wondering, “Proverbs 17:3” is “The crucible for silver and the furnace for gold, but the Lord tests the heart,” at least per the New International Version. What does this mean in the context of the show? Given what we know about Chuck this season … all possibilities are on the table.
