Jack Ryan season 3 premiere date hopes for John Krasinski, cast

Let’s start off the big news today, though, with this — a reminder that there is, for sure, going to be more of the John Krasinski-led action series, an adaptation of the work from Tom Clancy. Amazon greenlit a season 3 for Jack Ryan earlier this year, well before the premiere of season 2. From our vantage point, that’s a sign of a couple of different things.
1. The performance of the first season – Amazon, like Netflix and its other competitors in the streaming space, does not have a tendency to release viewership data. It’s not measured or viewed the same way by Nielsen. We just have to assume that Jack Ryan is a huge hit judging from the fact that they gave it such an early renewal. When you consider the total cost of the series and the demands that it puts on the cast and crew, they wouldn’t be so interested in more episodes.
2. The faith that they have in the future – Krasinski is at the moment a pretty-big star thanks to his work on A Quiet Place — plus, The Office remains very much one of the biggest comedies out there in terms of streaming viewership. He continues to gather up new fans and some of them may very well flock over to this show.

If we had to guess right now, we’d say that Jack Ryan season 3 will premiere either in late 2020 or early 2021. There was a wait of a little more than a year between the first and second season, and we’d have to assume that there’d be something similar here. It takes a while to put this show together (even with an early renewal) — plus, Krasinski is a busy guy with a lot of other metaphorical irons in the fire. We assume that around this time next year, we’ll start to have a better sense of what is coming.
