NCIS season 17: Brian Dietzen, Cote de Pablo reunite!
In a new post on Instagram, series star Brian Dietzen shared one of the first photos of himself alongside Cote on the set of an upcoming episode. There’s been chatter for weeks that Cote would be on set at about this time and now, we’ve got photographic proof of that very thing … and we’ve got a feeling that it’s going to be a fun reunion between Palmer and Ziva.

If you think back to the first two episodes of the season, one of the things that was unfortunately left out was some sort of proper reunion between Jimmy and Ziva. These two have a deep, wonderful friendship and it’s something worth devoting a little bit of time to showcase. If the writers intentionally held this moment back knowing that Ziva would return, we get it — it will allow the scene to stand out a little bit more, as opposed to just being one of many big reunions that were coming.
So when could you see this scene between Jimmy and Ziva play out? If we had to guess, we’d argue that it could be surfacing at some point at the end of the year. This could be the last episode of the show before it goes on holiday hiatus, at least for viewers watching at home. More details on that will be clear in the weeks ahead.
