SWAT season 3 episode 6 spoilers: Hondo’s sister arrives in Los Angeles

What do you want to see when it comes to SWAT season 3 episode 6? Well, let’s hope that family issues were fairly high up on your wishlist. Through “Kingdom,” you’ll end up seeing a good many of those play out as Hondo’s older sister arrives. Winnie is someone who doesn’t seem interested in being in Los Angeles, but has a very specific reason for doing so: Seeing her sick father. We know that he’s been ailing for most of the season, and regrettably, it doesn’t seem as though that is going to change within the near future.

So what else is happening through this story? Think in terms of a case involved a kidnapped activist — plus, some evidence that getting the food-truck business further off the ground is not going to be easy. Go ahead and be prepared for that.

“Kingdom” – The Harrelsons engage in a tense family reunion when Hondo’s older sister, Winnie (April Parker Jones), begrudgingly arrives in Los Angeles to see their sick father for the first time in decades. Also, the SWAT team searches for an abducted Middle Eastern human rights activist; Luca’s food truck business hits a snag; and Street worries that dating Captain Hick’s daughter, Molly (Laura James), will negatively impact his career, on S.W.A.T., Wednesday, Nov. 6 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

As with all episodes of SWAT, we have a feeling that there’s going to be a lot of excitement coming up for some of these characters. There’s going to be some danger but, beyond that, also some moments that remind you that the team is a family. We do like to think that a combination of these things matter within the larger fabric of what this show is.

Now, let’s just hope that the ratings for SWAT end up sticking at least solid … if not improving for the rest of the way. Anything that gets it to a season 4, right?
