So if we were to kick off some more speculation on the subject, we’d say that the story of Deja probably has a lot to do with everything that is going on with Malik. This is the new guy that is in her life, but we’re not talking here about a normal love interest for a teenager. This is someone who is already a father despite being very young, and that does raise questions about whether or not Deja is getting over her head. We do think that Malik seems nice enough, but the entire situation should be enough in order to give someone like Randall pause.
As for what’s going on in regards to Randall’s teacher, we think that it may have a thing or two to do with the anxiety attacks that Randall is struggling with. This is not something that is going to vanish rather fast, so maybe Rebecca and Jack feel like a personal conversation is best.
Is it? Well, just remember this — people in the past probably are not as receptive to mental health as those in the present.
