Bluff City Law episode 7 spoilers: ‘American Epidemic’ details

Curious to learn a little bit more about Bluff City Law episode 7, and some of what you can expect on NBC? This is an installment entitled “American Epidemic” … and this is also a reminder that we’re going to see one of the more pressing cases that we’ve seen Sydney and Elijah take on.

It’s no secret out there that the opioid crisis is the subject of enormous headlines and it has been for quite some time. We also imagine that it is hitting communities all over the country. On Monday night’s new episode, you will see Sydney and Elijah specifically take on doctors over whether or not they are doing something to help keep the crisis going — are they thinking of their pocketbook before they think of their patients and if so, how seismic are the results of that going to be? Is there any way for them to “change the world,” as the key art implies, when doctors themselves aren’t helping to save it?

Let’s make it clear that we’re not talking about all doctors within the world of this show — it may just be a select few, but the promo below amplifies some of the danger regardless.

At this point, there’s a chance you heard the news that Bluff City Law is not getting any additional episodes over at NBC. That doesn’t mean for sure that it is canceled, but for the time being, things aren’t looking altogether great. That’s why the advice that we would offer at the moment is the same advice that we’ve been giving out for a little while now — if you love the show, keep watching! Yet, at the same time don’t hold out hope that there will be any more stories beyond the initial ten that were ordered.
