Yet, the center of this episode is about something that is both human and also horrible: A murder that happens within the ranks of the Navy’s most prestigious band. Who would want one of these people dead? That is definitely something that we’re struggling to figure out right now. It feels like they are a part of an organization that really doesn’t contribute anything bad to the world, and are only providing musical enjoyment and entertainment to special events.

“Musical Chairs” – The NCIS team investigates the murder of a musician in the Navy’s most elite band that performs at diplomatic events around the world, on NCIS, Tuesday, Nov. 19 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
If we had to chart out some of our expectations for this particular episode right now, we’d say that the band member in question probably has some secrets that no one else knows — or there is just someone really toxic and/or terrible out there who is prepared to hurt them because they didn’t get their way.
Do we wish that CBS had shared a few details there were of the more personal variety? Sure, but that’s not something that we are getting at this very moment.
