Where is Hetty, Linda Hunt on NCIS: Los Angeles season 11?

If you’ve been viewing the CBS series with regularity over the past few years, then you know some of what is going on here! After all, we’ve been down this road so many times before with this show and the Hetty character. Back during season 9, she was gone for a significant chunk of the Vietnam story. Meanwhile, in season 10, she was gone for an even larger stretch as Hunt recovered from a car accident.
This season, you will see more of Hunt, and presumably, you’re not going to have to wait some extreme amount of time in order to see her. Hunt doesn’t appear in every episode of the show anymore, and while she is still a regular, her appearances are more sporadic. It’s similar in a way to David McCallum and what he does at this point as Ducky over on NCIS proper.
We definitely know that there are some big episodes featuring the character coming up this season — including one about her past! The show does value this character dearly and recognizes the amount of fun and strength she brings to the table. She’s one of the top figures in LA helping out the team, and she does always carry with her this excellent mystery vibe where you never quite know what she is going to bring to the table.
