In the video below, you can get a good sense as to what is coming up — namely, Nell is excited in order to give the team a case all about a missing, valuable painting. It’s one that somehow is worth tens of millions of dollars, despite it being a fairly rudimentary piece of art in terms of its design and structure. It mostly just looks like a couple of shapes partnered with some squiggly lines.
Yet, Nell notes that this is a years-long investigation — one that Hetty was personally obsessed with tracking down. It seems as though there are finally some clues as to his whereabouts. That means that the NCIS team could be on the job!
Nell is more excited about this case and in some ways, that is awesome. Yet, at the same time we don’t think that this case is going to be anywhere near as much fun as Nell thinks that it is, probably because signs point to this painting being ultimately linked to terrorists. That’s going to mean danger around every turn. Sure, we do think that the NCIS: Los Angeles team is more prepared to take on danger than anyone, but that doesn’t mean that they’re going to get what they want here.
Remember that this episode is also going to feature an appearance from Code Black alum Moon Bloodgood, a high-level insurance broker. Is she an asset in this case, a criminal, or someone in the middle? This is something we’re hoping that this episode will answer … especially since there is another appearance from Bloodgood coming soon.
