Legacies season 2 episode 4 return date: A samurai’s arrival!
The sad news to report is that even though Legacies may very well be the perfect Halloween show, there is no episode airing on Halloween night. As for what the reasoning for that is, we just have to imagine that it’s because The CW doesn’t want to lose numbers, especially with a show that has a little bit more of a younger viewership than some others that are out there. The series will return on November 7, and with an installment that is bringing you everything when it comes to a mysterious samurai and also some relationship questions.

THE LOST SAMURAI – When a samurai shows up in Mystic Falls looking for a demon that possesses its victims, Josie (Kaylee Bryant) leads the charge to defend her friends from the demon’s wrath. Meanwhile, as Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) and Rafael (Peyton Alex Smith) head to Mystic Falls High in hopes of learning more about the mysterious Hope (Danielle Rose Russell), MG (Quincy Fouse) is conflicted by a secret he’s uncovered about Lizzie’s (Jenny Boyd) new vampire friend Sebastian (guest star Thomas Doherty). Finally, just as Alaric (Matthew Davis) lets his guard down around the town’s new sheriff, a confrontation with a demon forces him to reevaluate his priorities. Geoff Shotz directed the episode written by Penny Cox (#204). Original airdate 11/7/2019.
This episode feels like it’s going to be pretty fun at times, but let’s hone in on what’s going on with MG for a second. Isn’t this a terrible spot for the guy to be in? Think about it like this — he has feelings for Lizzie, but they may not be reciprocated. If he finds out something about Sebastian (who she does seem to have an interest in), it behooves him to say something. Yet, if he delivers the news in a bad way, it may look like he’s trying to sabotage them. It’s pretty easy to figure out why he would be struggling with this.
