Is Almost Family new tonight on Fox? Episode 4 promo discussion
So what’s the reason for it? Blame baseball. The World Series between the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals is continuing tonight and for those of you who don’t care about MLB, you’re better off rooting for one team to win a ton of the games and fast. If that happens, there will be a new Almost Family on the air next week. However, if the World Series goes to seven games, you will be stuck waiting until Wednesday, November 6 in order to see what is next.
So what can we tell you is coming up next? The promo below gives you a little bit of a sense of it, as you’ll see the ultimate impact of what having many new siblings can do for you. Also, there is a newcomer to the “family” in Nate, who ends up helping them … or at least tries to. A part of the problem is that some of these characters may not be getting out of their own way. So much of this show is about venturing into the unknown and seeing what’s there — some of these new siblings could prove to be great friends. Others could prove to be wolves in sheep’s clothing. If you’re some of these characters, you better make sure you know who you’re associating with.
If you missed it, the synopsis below offers up more of a sense of what’s coming:
The sisters meet a new sibling, restaurant owner Nate (guest star Michael Urie), who helps them secure one of the most exclusive reservations in New York. Unfortunately, the dinner doesn’t go as planned and Julia is forced to apologize to Roxy and Edie for her missteps. Meanwhile, Edie and Tim discuss starting a family, but Edie is conflicted on where she stands, Dr. Bechley begins his volunteer work at a hospital, where he uncovers another Bechley baby and Roxy invests her time in training her gymnastics protégé, Izzy, while tensions with her parents rise
