‘Game of Thrones’ season 3: Notes on Kit Harrington and more

Since there is nothing particularly breaking in the world of “Game of Thrones” at the moment, we felt it best to share a pair of small highlights that have to do with the series as a whole. Read on, and of course be sure to check out some of what else is happening with the show here.

First and foremost, we have (gasp) yet another interview with Kit Harrington about the new “Silent Hill” film. The chat this time is with Dread Central, and within it he is asked to compare the type of horror that exists in filming the fantasy show to what he did with the film here. His answer is not particularly illuminating when it comes to season 3, but there is still something rather entertaining in hearing him talk a little bit more about getting to work with Sean Bean again in a different environment than he did the last time during season 1 of the show:

“They are scary in different ways … I know that’s a cop-out, but they are. In my bit in the story in ‘Thrones,’ the horror element… weirdly, I’m in the most horror element in ‘Thrones’ and also in this horror movie so they’re not so worlds apart that you may think they are. These are two very different projects and different characters so they never kind of blended, though it was weird being on the set with Sean Bean in a completely different environment and a completely different relationship. It was like, ‘We’ve been here before, man! And I dunno where. Weren’t you in that evil gear last time?’ He’s a great guy. It’s strange, but as an actor you have to forget something and move on and do the best with the next one.”

Meanwhile, we have a new video interview (via Red Carpet News) with actor Miltos Yerolemou, who played the character of master weapon-master Syrio Forel, and also happens to be a real-life expert with swords in the future. There are some teases about season 3 (regardless of his character in here), as he feels that it is going to be ground-breaking on so many different levels.
