New Amsterdam season 2 episode 6 spoilers: ‘Righteous Right Hand’

Want to know what’s coming on New Amsterdam season 2 episode 6? Think in terms of more challenging cases, but also some with big turns. “Righteous Right Hand” is a pretty interesting episode on the surface, at least in terms of Max figuring out right in the middle of a case that there is a new problem that arises. It is a part of being a doctor, right? You’re going to encounter all sorts of surprise twists and turns, and you have to be able to turn on a dime and figure things out.

10/29/2019 (10:01PM – 11:00PM) (Tuesday) : When a group of women on a retreat end up in the ED, Max gets some troubling information that could put a patient in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Sharpe and Kapoor work together to mend fences between two feuding sisters. TV-14 D, L

As we push forward through the remainder of this season, we imagine that there are going to be more surprising cases — where New Amsterdam will step it up is by finding a way to connect some of these cases to the doctors at the center of them. We recognize that as doctors, it can be easy to become somewhat numb to the plight of every individual patient. Yet, what makes a show like this interesting is that you see the doctors care. You want to imagine that they could be your own doctors in the event that you are in danger. It’s a key component of what makes this show work.

Of course, beyond this it goes without saying that we do want to continue to get other small tidbits about the characters’ personal lives. It makes the overall story more fully-formed in the end.
