FBI season 2 episode 6 return date, details on ‘Outsider’
As many of you likely know already, FBI in many ways has a tendency to follow the lead of NCIS — when it’s new, the same goes for the Dick Wolf drama. This just makes sense so that it can capitalize on its ratings, which are still some of the best on TV this many years in. There is no new NCIS next week, so it only makes some sense that there is no new episode of FBI airing next week either. You’re going to be waiting for two weeks to see what is coming up on “Outsider,” an episode that will balance out a high-profile murder case and also a personal story for OA. “Outsider” – After a Wall Street investor is murdered, the team is led to an insider-trading ring that uses unconventional methods to gain information. Also, OA struggles to maintain confidence in his budding relationship with Mona (Yasmine Aker), on FBI, Tuesday, Nov. 5 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
The case-of-the-week here feels almost like something out of an episode of Billions — some secret insider-training group that will get information at all costs. Killing is a little bit extreme for that show … or is it really?
In the end, we foresee the entertainment value of this episode coming mostly from seeing the team try to get some of the sometimes-shady characters in Wall Street to open up. That’s not really their forte, given that opening up about others may lead to an investigation into themselves and some of their own past habits.
As for OA’s relationship…
The reality is that if you’re getting involved in this line of work, you have to expect multiple instances of things not going your way. It’s just a part of the way this world works and how the job can interrupt every other single aspect of your life. He may be able to find a greater balance eventually … but not so soon into the series’ run.
