NCIS: Los Angeles season 11: Is Kensi pregnant? Deeks’ response
Through the first half of this episode, it was clear that Kensi was struggling with the overall level of danger in this case — one that revolved around Ebola. This was unusual, given that it’s been Deeks who, in the past, has been more apprehensive about danger and their future.

After Deeks ended up confronting her on this, that’s when Kensi chose to hand down the important information: She was late. There was no guarantee that she was pregnant, but this was something that she was thinking about and it was heavily on her mind. Unfortunately for Deeks, she wasn’t too interested in getting in-depth at the moment on the subject. A part of the issue here is that she’s got some other responsibilities to deal with here, and that is something that she has to occupy her mind with.
We do think that being parents is something that is on Deeks and Kensi’s mind, but it doesn’t seem as though this was something that they were actively trying for at this point.
The story wasn’t picked up again until close to the end of the episode, where Kensi revealed to Deeks that she wasn’t pregnant. Yet, it was a moment that may end up leading to some larger conversations on the subject. It’s at least causing the two to think about their future, and also about the timeline for when they do want to be parents. It’s also allowed Kensi to think about being a parent more and having conversations with Deeks about it.
While the two aren’t going to be mom and dad right away, it’s definitely clear after tonight’s episode that the writers are moving forward towards that potential point in some form.
