Supergirl season 5 episode 4 spoilers: Is William Dey as he seems?

Want to know what’s coming on Supergirl season 5 episode 4? This is an episode coming up entitled “In Plain Sight,” and this is one that could contain a few different revelations across a number of different characters. Take, for example, what’s going on in regards to William Dey … or also what’s going to be happening with Malefic. These are two characters who have been a fundamental part of the season to date, but are they going to remain in that spot forever? Well we see the CW series eventually work to change a few things up?

We know that season 5 of Supergirl is one that is going to be told in stages — it has to be when you consider the arrival of Crisis on Infinite Earths at some point down the road. There will be an era of a show before that, and then another era after the fact. How the writers balance this out and all of the smaller stories in between could prove to be rather interesting.

SAYING GOODBYE IS HARD TO DO – Kara’s (Melissa Benoist) investigation into William Dey’s (Staz Nair) “criminal” activities results in the shocking revelation he is not who she thinks. Meanwhile, the conflict between Malefic and J’onn J’onzz (David Harewood) reaches a boiling point. David McWhirter directed the episode written by Jay Faerber & Jess Kardos (#504). Original airdate 10/27/2019.

For everyone out there who loves surprises, we’re sure that there will be a few that are sprinkled within this episode. The fact that it’s entitled “In Plain Sight” is also a signal that there will be some character frustrations … and it makes a good bit of sense that there would be. If a character missed an important clue or tidbit that was right under their nose, don’t you think that this is going to be something that sticks with them for a while? You have to think that it would.
