‘Jersey Shore’ season 6: Deena Cortese getting into cartoons
There are some people from the world of “Jersey Shore” who are like going to do everything they can to stay rooted in reality TV after the show airs the series finale later this year; however, it also looks as though there are some other people are looking to try and find a place in some other industries, as well. In all likelihood, you are already familiar with Vinny Guadagnino’s plans to try and become an actor; now, we are also learning that Deena Cortese has some dreams of her own to get into voiceovers and cartoon work.
Speaking in a new interview with Buzzfeed, Deena explained that her cartoon plans are just one of many things that she currently has on the pipeline, which also includes some plans to stay involved in the world of fashion if at all possible:
“Right now I’m working on a hair product called ‘Wisper,’ and I’m also working on a clothing line, it’s called ‘Short Couture.’ It’s going to be for girls, skinny and heavy, with tight skirts, but also flowy so you can wear a belt. I want it to be for everyone. I’m also working on doing voice overs for cartoons. I haven’t tried out for any yet, but I’m doing voice lessons and stuff to prepare myself for auditions.”
So are either one of these goals possible? Sure, and it’s really going to largely depend on whether or not Deena manages to surround herself with the right people who can hand down some good advice. While not every reality star is able to transition into a successful career after the fact, there are still some who have done it, with Nicole Richie and Lauren Conrad being two great examples.
