The Flash season 6 spoilers: When will Sue Dearbon appear now?
Rest assured, though, that there will be a chance to see Ralph Dibny’s future love story play out — at least in some form. We won’t necessarily meet her via traditional ways, but the story will definitely be explored. Speaking via TVLine, executive producer Eric Wallace had the following to say on the subject of when she will turn up:
“There’s two answers to that: Sue will appear in the back half [but] I would read into that when I say there are two answers to that question. Sometimes what you see isn’t what you see.”
What in the world does that mean? It’s cryptic at best, and there are so many different ways that this character could be mixed up. Yet, we don’t think that the writers are going to be incredibly eager to rush into anything. There’s no reason for them to do that! They’ve got a story at the moment that is working to check off a lot of boxes, so this will be something that is explored, piece by piece, as we press onward beyond the crossover.
We suppose that, more than anything, we should just be happy that there is going to be more episodes of The Flash after the crossover. Such an idea, after all, was hardly guaranteed given some of what happens in the source material. We could get into all of the different questions and possible aftermaths of the crossover, but we’d be here all day talking about that. We’re just imagining that it’s going to be a completely different world on The Flash once we make it to that metaphorical finish line.
As for when the casting for Sue could be announced, maybe we’ll be lucky and something more will come later this year.
