The Walking Dead season 10 spoilers: The Beta – Negan meeting & humor
Think about it — Negan in one corner and then Beta of the Whisperers in the other. Beta is one of the most dangerous characters out there right now, but a part of his fear comes via his silence. He doesn’t say a whole lot — and he doesn’t really need to. He gets the job done as a part of Alpha’s overall organization.
Speaking in a new interview with Insider, the man behind Beta in Ryan Hurst makes it clear that the person we’re going to be seeing interact with him in a most humorous way is going to be Negan. Why would this be so funny? Think of it as a clash between two very different personalities:
“Beta and Negan, they couldn’t be more diametrically opposite than anything … It’s this stone-faced immovable person and then you have his mouthpiece who just will not shut up.
“The first episode that you see Beta and Negan together is one of the funniest episodes of Walking Dead that you’ve ever seen.”
This is going to be a moment like no other, or at least an interesting interaction. While Negan’s got a history of doing some terrible stuff within this world, we know that he is a different person now than who he was — and we’re also expecting there to be a lot of different conflict between him and the Whisperers. We just have to wait and see what some of the upcoming stories are going to be structured like between them — and also involving the Whisperers in general. We know that the Whisperers are some of the most dangerous people we’ve seen on the series — and to make matters worse, they are so much more violent than the Saviors ever were. They will make you sweat, make you shake, and make you very concerned as to whatever the future is going to hold if they are in danger.
