Supergirl season 5 episode 5 spoilers: ‘Dangerous Liaisons’ details
For, for example, one Alex Danvers. Through this episode, we have a feeling we’re going to get an example of good news, bad news. The good news is that Kelly and Alex are getting closer and their relationship is building up steam. The bad news? She’s going to be put into some danger.

A NEW DANGER ARISES – On the eve of the worldwide launch of Andrea Rojas’s (Julie Gonzalo) VR contact lenses, Kara (Melissa Benoist) and William (Staz Nair) team up on an investigation that exposes a terrorist plot. Kelly (Azie Tesfai) and Alex (Chyler Leigh) celebrate an anniversary, but Alex’s safety is in jeopardy. Alysse Leite-Rogers directed the episode written by Rob Wright & Daniel Beaty (#505). Original airdate 11/3/2019.
What are we hoping to see within this episode? Think in terms of some major steps forward for some characters, but also the introduction of some unexpected threats. There is also still this — getting a chance to learn a little bit more about this show in the context of Crisis on Infinite Earths. It’s certainly bee a part of the Supergirl world, but at the same time, we think the impetus has been put more on introducing it over on the world of The Flash and Arrow — otherwise known as Earth-1. We know that Kara’s going to have her role to play here, and the same goes for a lot of other characters, as well. This is a five-part crossover signed to throw us through as many different loops as possible, and to perhaps think about the entire Arrowverse differently by the time we’re at the end. Let’s just hope a great foundation is laid over the next few weeks.
