The Masked Singer episode 5 return date on Fox

If you love the famed “who sung it?” competition as a staple of your primetime lineup, the bad news is that you’re going to be waiting a good week to see what’s next. After all, there is no new episode of the show next week due to the World Series … and there may not be one the following week, either. In the end, it’s all going to depend on how quickly the baseball series is over. (Personally, we’re rooting for whoever can get things wrapped up quickly — isn’t that going to be better for all of us?)
Moving forward into the next new episode of the show, we’ll see all of the performers who weren’t on the show episode tonight. We’ll have six more performances, another unmasking, and hopefully a further tinge of unpredictability. One of the issues that the reveals so far have had is that a lot of them are incredibly predictable. that included the one tonight — we won’t spoil it for you in the event that you haven’t seen it yet.
One of the things that we will remind you about, though, is that being a contestant on The Masked Singer is about the journey more so than anything else. We like having a chance to get to know some of these people in a way that we haven’t before — that adds to the big reveal at the very end of the episode.
