NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 cast wrap filming 250th episode!
In a new post on Twitter, series star LL Cool J was first to report the news with a very gracious message, thanking everyone at the studio, the cast, and the crew for all of their hard work. As he notes, this is a global show airing in 200+ countries with people who know and care for these characters. That’s a part of the fun here — LL could go to the other side of the world and someone could know him for playing Sam Hanna. That’s without even mentioning the music career that he’s had.

LL Cool J also shared with his post a video, one that features him and his co-star Chris O’Donnell speaking in front of what is a milestone episode tradition — a giant cake commemorating the occasion. These milestones don’t come very often and that’s why they are worth celebrating — especially in an era where fewer and fewer series are probably going to get to this point. Think about how hard it is to get a new show even renewed for a second season in 2019 — let alone making it more than a decade on the air.
There are few details out there at the moment about the 250th episode of NCIS: Los Angeles but, at least for the time being, we’re anticipating a fantastic episode like no other. Think in terms of one that will celebrate the show’s legacy, and maybe either bring back some familiar faces or some big-time themes. It can’t interfere with the flow of a season, but you do want it to be special.
Ironically, NCIS: Los Angeles isn’t the only series in the franchise to celebrate a big milestone; NCIS proper will be commemorating its success with an epic 400th episode a little later this coming spring.
