FBI season 2 episode 5 spoilers: Jubal’s family at a ‘Crossroads’
Within “Crossroads,” a big part of the story is going to be seeing Jubal make some hard choices when it comes to his family — it’s always difficult to care for your own personal life while working as an agent. This much is clear — this is a difficult, enormously demanding job, one that can take so much out of you and one that can make you feel like you’re drowning. Then, add on top of the job stress all of the real-life stress.
So this episode will prove personal, but at the same time you’re going to also see another big-time case. This one revolves around a man who goes too far and finds himself in grave danger — for more on that, check out the full FBI season 2 episode 5 synopsis:
“Crossroads” – A loving husband and father of two, Jim Russo (Claybourne Elder), is kidnapped after accidentally getting involved in illegal dealings far beyond what he imagined. Also, Jubal must make a difficult decision regarding his family and their future, on FBI, Tuesday, Oct. 22 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
We’ll admit that anytime we think about a “loving husband and father” ending up getting immersed in a life of crime, Walter White comes to mind. Yet, we’ve got a feeling that Jim Russo is no Heisenberg. There’s no indication that he’s going to be okay being kidnapped or that he wants to continue being a part of this world … though that could be the big twist here. After all, we know fully that FBI is that sort of show that loves to keep you on your toes and throw ALL sorts of twists at you to make you wonder where things could be going.
In the end, though, this feels like an episode that is working to cleverly balance out an isolated story that is important in the moment with one that could have larger ramifications.
