Law & Order: SVU season 21 spoilers: Wentworth Miller returning
This week, NBC confirmed that the Prison Break and Legends of Tomorrow alum will be coming back to the series — his IMDb makes it clear that he will return Detective Nate Kendall, a character he first played back in 2009. His appearance this time around is coming on “Murdered at a Bad Address,” an episode airing on Thursday, October 31. That is Halloween night, but there’s no guarantee that this is going to be themed around the holiday at all. Check out some of the details below, including another notable guest star who was a part of Scandal for many years:
10/31/2019 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Thursday) : The case of a teenage girl assaulted in the projects leads to a startling discovery. Benson puts her trust in someone from her past. Starring Mariska Hargitay, Ice T, Kelli Giddish and Peter Scanavino. Guest starring Jamie Gray Hyder, Tamara Tunie, Michael Weston, Guillermo Diaz and Wentworth Miller. TV-14 D, L, V
In addition to this being another compelling episode of SVU, it goes without saying that getting both Diaz and Miller in a single episode brings with it a lot of excitement. Like Miller, Diaz has appeared on SVU before — think this time around as Omar Peña back in 2012.
For Miller, this casting adds to what is proving to be a rather busy fall for him — the actor is currently recurring as a prominent Senator on Madam Secretary season 6, one that is setting out to make life very difficult for Elizabeth McCord. This comes after many years for him in the Arrowverse, and then also speculation that he could be coming back for more Prison Break at some point in the future. There have been rumors around that for a long period of time, but nothing has been altogether confirmed as of right now.
While you wait for Miller’s appearance on SVU to air, there is another new episode airing on Thursday night.
