When the NYPD investigates a homicide they assume is linked to a drug cartel, Malcolm discovers a secret about Dani’s past that draws them closer together in the all-new “The Trip” episode of PRODIGAL SON airing Monday, Oct. 21 (9:01-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. As we continue to press forward through this season, we hope that Malcolm can start to find a sense of inner stability — it’s good to have found a professional calling or to stop other people from doing bad things, but what’s the overall cost of it? How is it going to end up hurting you? These are things that we will see explored through this episode, in addition to most of the rest of this season.

One of the things that we will say that we are thrilled about is having the comfort of knowing that there is a full season of Prodigal Son — it’s the first fall show to get this honor! It’s a great sign that the people over at Fox are appreciating the show to date … and it’s very well possible that this will end up being one of the few freshman shows still standing by May.
