Bluff City Law episode 5 spoilers: ‘When the Levee Breaks’

Interested to see what’s coming up on Bluff City Law episode 5? Think of this episode as a bit of an intersection between two very important things. One of them is of course watching some of these characters, particularly Sydney and Elijah, fight for the little guy. The other part of it is trying to capture the essence and culture of Memphis. This is a part of what makes this show unique — you’ve got a series set in a very particular part of the country, one that most TV series don’t often venture to. There’s some excitement with that, especially when you think about what’s going to be going on within this episode for a blues musician.

Then, go ahead and consider the title of “When the Levee Breaks.” When you see that, it’s fairly easy to assume that something big is going to transpire.

10/21/2019 (10:01PM – 11:00PM) (Monday) : Sydney and Elijah help a twelve-year-old girl find justice for the failed levee system that flooded her town. Della and Anthony fight for an old blues musician’s song rights. TV-14

The fight for the song rights may be the part of this episode that gets the most attention, if for no other reason than that Taylor Swift has already been in the headlines for things like the masters to many of her old songs. It’s also a very drawn-out and complicated process … but we imagine that this episode is going to allow us to have an opportunity to see a little bit of music thrown into this episode here and there. Suffice it to say, we are all for that as a means of being thoroughly entertained.

One of the only other questions to wonder here, though, is whether or not viewers will continue to be present. Through its first few weeks Bluff City Law has slowly started to lose viewership. It’s going to need some sort of turnaround soon if it wants to have a chance at another season, let alone something more than the initial episode order.
