Supergirl season 5 episode 3 spoilers: Kara, Lena’s story in ‘Blurred Lines’
From the onset of season 5, we knew that there would be some conflicts ahead for these characters. It’s hard for there not to be when you consider what happened at the end of season 4. Lena has a right to be upset; after all, she was out of the loop on one of Kara’s greatest secrets. Lena is someone who has felt betrayed and hurt by a lot of different people in her life; having Kara do it hurts even more because she’s aware of some of those betrayals. Not only that, but their relationship was closer than some of the ones that Lena had with her own family.
Through “Blurred Lines,” you’re going to have a chance to see this story play out in a number of different ways. Meanwhile, you’ll have a chance to learn more about Kelly Olsen.

BE CAREFUL WHO YOU TRUST- Kara (Melissa Benoist) attempts to mend her relationship with Lena (Katie McGrath). How important is this episode going to be to the long-term of this series? We think it’s essential that Kara and Lena eventually have a chance in order to patch things up, since they’re going to need each other. Kara Danvers is going to need a friend. Meanwhile, we also do think that Supergirl is going to need someone like Lena for her research and technology. She can be an extremely valuable ally in terms of helping her tackle great evil in the city.
In the end, we still believe that Lena is good and she’ll resist any dark impulses that she has. She’s going to need some help, but she can find a way in order to make it.
