Power season 6 episode 8 sneak peek: Tate prepares to debate

At midnight, Power season 6 episode 8 is going to drop on Starz … and you better be prepared for a dramatic episodes like no other. Through “Deal with the Devil,” you’re going to see Ghost and Tasha try to figure out what to do with Tariq … even though Tasha’s seemingly already determined that she is ready to do whatever it takes in order to teach him about the game. Her feeling is that he’s better alive than dead, and if this is the way to keep him alive, that is something that she is going to both endorse and support.

Speaking of endorsing, are the voters of New York going to endorse Tate for Governor? That’s something that he’s hoping for, and the sneak peek below from this episode gives you a good sense of what he’s trying to do. He’s stepping up to the plate, speaking boldly, and doing what he can in order to prove that he’s the right man for the job. As for whether or not he is, everyone’s gonna have an opinion about that. (We know that the guy is deeply rooted in all sorts of corruption and problems — especially with Ghost, who is gravitating ever closer to Ramona. Given that Ramona’s a part of Tate’s campaign, it’s fair to say that this is a problem.)

Oh, and for those wondering, the debate happening in this episode is being moderated by Sunny Hostin — playing herself. We wondered how The View panelist was going to factor into this episode and now, we’ve got a pretty good idea of that very thing … and it’s also one that makes a good bit of sense.

Let’s hope for an intense episode, one that features characters in danger and maybe some more surprises twists for the campaign. No matter what happens, we’ll learn all about it before long.
