Hawaii Five-0 season 10 episode 3 sneak peek: McGarrett & car comedy
Typically, the bulk of these scenes are done featuring Steve and Danny — and typically, they revolve around the two parties bickering with each other. It’s clear that this is basically the default position for Steve anytime that he steps into a car, which is probably why he gets so testy with Quinn almost right away when he thinks that she is critical of his driving. Not so much, but it produces a great little moment along the way.

So what else do we learn from this sneak peek? It starts with the fact that Quinn knows how to speak Kurdish, something that takes McGarrett by surprise. We feel like as we start to know her better as a character, there could be a LOT of things that take us by surprise. That is a real part of the fun that comes with meeting new characters on this show sometimes. They bring with them a vivacity and are fleshed-out enough behind the scenes that the writers can play into a number of these quirky little moments. There are so many different opportunities to have fun almost right away with these people and it helps them to fit in with the larger world.
While there might be some really fun moments for McGarrett and Quinn in this episode, it’s not going to be all roses and sunshine. Remember that at some point over the course of this hour, we’re going to send up seeing the character get arrested. Is she deserving of being locked away? That’s something we’ll have to wait to find out, but it is an interesting point of discussion at the moment. Consider it, in the end, to be one more thing to look forward to seeing.
