The Masked Singer: Dr. Drew Pinsky unmasked as the Eagle!

Tonight, The Masked Singer brought in its final batch of colorful characters and throughout, we relished the chance to see them perform. Yet, throughout much of it we were pretty sure that it was either going to be the Penguin or the Eagle who was unmasked … and we were very curious to learn who the Penguin was. It sounded as though it was a political figure, and someone who was already through with most of their career.

Other than the Penguin, the other clear possibility for elimination tonight was the singer. It was clear that neither one of them was the best singer, and for the judges/the audience, the biggest test was simply who they were enjoying the most in the competition. (Let’s be real, though, a lot of the decisions are random and arbitrary.)

In the end, though, the person unmasked was … the Eagle! The Penguin gets to sing another day, and we learned this character’s identity in the closing minutes of the hour. There were a LOT of guesses out there, but it ended up being none other than Dr. Drew Pinsky! This was a totally random person to be underneath the mask, but we kind of love that it was given that he was somewhat unexpected that it would be him. He’s not from the world of singers, or even a world of people doing reality shows. He’s typically the person hosting the reality show instead.
