‘The Good Wife’ season 4 spoilers: First look at Christina Ricci

On the upcoming November 11 episode of “The Good Wife,” we are hopefully going to see an answer to what is a very good question that has circulated all over the entertainment community as of late: what happens when a joke on the show goes a little bit too far? All you have to do is watch various roasts over the years to have this debate, as there always seems to be one person who ends up being offended.

This time around, the person who seems to be offended by a comedienne is actually not a person at all; rather, it is an entire network, who is suing a funny lady (played by Christina Ricci) over some sort of comments that she made during a broadcast. We don’t know what those comments are just yet, but any person who goes on TV is of course given some sort of background as to what they can or cannot say.

Just due to the topical nature of it, we’re excited to see this role … and then you add to it this sort of high-caliber actress playing a different sort of role than what we’ve seen her in as of late. We’re completely sold on this story, and now all we have to hope is that “The Good Wife” benefits heavily from her appearance. If there is one thing that this show does a great job at, it’s giving their guest stars plenty to do.

Are you excited to see Ricci on the show next month, and is there a part of you still that misses her previous show in “Pan Am”?
