Manifest season 2 trailer: The passengers face even more chaos

If you’re eagerly awaiting Manifest season 2 arriving on NBC, then you know a certain part of the game at this point — you’re stuck waiting — and waiting a long time — in order to see what is coming up next. New episodes are not airing until 2020 and with that in mind, you’re left to speculate for all of this time to wonder what happened following the cliffhanger.

Is Zeke dead, or could the same be said for Jared? We know that this is one of the big questions entering the new season, and the video below (via TVLine) shifts away from giving us answers on that. Instead, this trailer is more about showcasing new problems for the passengers of Flight 828, including a murder investigation, paranormal theories, and also potentially game-changing discoveries.

There are a lot of little twists that are still going to present themselves throughout this season, especially if Manifest does choose to take a good luck at something that we are eager for them to examine further — the idea of a “death day.” Is there an expiration for all of the survivors following their disappearance? Is there a way for them to escape this “fate”? We’re hoping that there are some interesting ways for this to be explored throughout many of the upcoming episodes.

Now, the hard part of anticipating what’s next is knowing full well that Manifest season 2 is not going to be premiering until we get around to the spring. This is noted at the end of the trailer, and it’s a reminder that there is a long ways to go. If there is one thing to be happy about right now, it’s the simple fact that you’ll be able to check out all of the upcoming season with minimal breaks! You can just kick back, relax, and enjoy all of the upcoming episodes in succession.

A more formal Manifest season 2 premiere date could be known either later this year or, at worst, in early 2020. Much of it could depend on the malleability of NBC’s midseason schedule. Specific dates could depend on other things that are going on with their schedule.
