The Walking Dead season 10 premiere spoilers: Training at Oceanside

Walking Dead season 8

Come Sunday, The Walking Dead season 10 premiere will be here! That’s exciting, but we’re also intrigued by what feels a little like the franchise’s version of the training montage from Rocky. You are going to see so many different characters clashing against one another, but at the center of it, there will be the simple goal of survival. They’re trying to withstand an onslaught from the Whisperers and the best way to do that is preparing for battle. Sometimes, doing that means having to deal with internal conflict.

For more hints on what they’re doing, just take a look at the full The Walking Dead season 10 premiere synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below:

The group at Oceanside continue their training in case they encounter The Whisperers again; the heroes try to maintain their idea of civilization.

We think that there is a clear bit of evidence within this that fighting the Whisperers is very different from almost any other foe that we’ve seen on the series. They’re dangerous because of not just how they act, but also how they think. They’re okay to strike within a moment’s notice and cause some problems where you lead expect it. They’re smart enough to constantly make you constantly unnerved as to what they’re going to do. You have to be able to get on their level, and perhaps strike when you think you would otherwise feel safe.

If you did not know the news just yet, the premiere for The Walking Dead season 10 is set to run for around an hour and fifteen minutes. Following that, the latest episode of Talking Dead will feature Norman Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Melissa McBride, Cailey Fleming, and then also showrunner Angela Kang and executive producer/director Greg Nicotero. Since these premieres do often set the stage for everything that is coming, it makes a certain degree of sense for AMC to brace for it by bringing out as many different notable names as possible. Now, let’s just hope that this premiere justifies the long hiatus … and lives up to our expectations.
