NCIS: Los Angeles season 11 premiere: Do Harm, Mac have a future?
After a long wait, tonight’s episode featured the long-awaited reunion between these two characters, as Mac admitted that the two of them didn’t give their relationship “a real try.” At the end of the episode, the interesting twist was that Harm had an opportunity to get a position at a prominent NCIS office — it’s the sort of thing that would allow him a chance to actually put down roots. He could have a real chance to further along a relationship with Mac or at least establish what he wants his personal future to have.
Did we get closure? Not exactly, but maybe we have some hope. The two characters are at least back in the same orbit and it’s obvious that they do have some deep feelings for each other. That will have to be enough to suffice, at least for the time being.

As for what is coming up for the team itself, we learned at the end of the episode that Sam and Callen are going to be sticking around overseas to deal with what seems to be some sort of strange mission — it’s not one that they have a lot of information on at the moment, and they’re going to have to following some orders to get to whatever mysterious end we’re going to see here.
Ultimately, we don’t think that the premiere is going to be one that satisfies completely when it comes to handing out answers — there wasn’t a whole lot of intel in here! Yet, at the same time it resolved some of the cliffhangers and it does leave us very much curious for what the future for Harm and Mac could be.
