Entering NCIS: New Orleans season 6, we were hoping for some big stories for Lucas Black’s character of Christopher Lasalle. He didn’t have a ton of them through season 5 and while we understood why (there was a lot going on), we did still want a little bit more here.
Luckily, we do get a sense that the October 15 episode entitled “Overlooked” is going to satisfy many of your wants. (Ironically, “overlooked” could be a way to describe Lasalle as of late.) This is an installment that will dive into the relationship between the character and his brother, who is MIA and presumably located somewhere in Alabama. He’s going to recruit some help and over the course of this episode, we’ll see if he is able to find some answers.
Interested in some other news? Then check out the official NCIS: New Orleans season 6 episode 4 synopsis with more news as to what’s coming:
“Overlooked” – The NCIS team uncovers a sinister plot by a private detention center contracted by the government to house undocumented immigrants. Also, Lasalle and Sebastian travel to Alabama to search for Lasalle’s missing brother, on NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, Tuesday, Oct. 15 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Will there be a chance for Clayne Crawford to eventually return to the series as Lasalle’s brother? That’s up ultimately to what the writers choose to do. Crawford has not appeared on network TV since his exit from Lethal Weapon more than a year ago, but did appear in an installment of Hulu’s Into the Dark.
For Lasalle, squaring away everything when it comes to his family is going to be an important priority and understandably so. Just think in terms of some of what he’s had going on with his father, as well as the general confusion regarding his future ever since Percy left New Orleans. While he’s moved forward, she was someone who could’ve been a great love for him had things turned out a little differently.
As for the other storyline within this episode, the private detention center housing undocumented immigrants may be taking on topical subject matter — of course, in its own unique way.
