As we prepare for the next Dancing with the Stars 28 episode on Monday, now seems like the right time to think about eliminations. Who will be the next person to leave the competition?
So far this season, it feels fair to say that the wrong person has been eliminated — Mary Wilson was not the worst dancer through the first two weeks, though she was more or less in the bottom half. We were mostly surprised that she was eliminated since she is a living legend and that does tend to carry a certain amount of weight. That’s especially true given that the judges sent her home — and over Ray Lewis, no less!
Following Mary’s exit, who could be next? We do have a few candidates here to consider. You can also check out the video below for more thoughts on this past elimination, if you missed it; after you watch, remember to subscribe to CarterMatt on YouTube and also visit our full show playlist.
Lamar Odom – He is at the moment the worst dancer in the competition and it’s probably not close. Yet, we do think that he wants to be there and he is trying to get better — it’s just hard on him given that he is so much taller than everyone else and it’s hard to compensate for that when you are out on the dance floor.
Ray Lewis – He was almost eliminated last time, so what’s going to change this time? What’s the most disconcerting for Ray is that he may not have much of a fanbase, which is unusual for an NFL player taking part in this show — especially one that spent all of their career playing on the same team.
Sean Spicer – He’s one of the worst dancers, but he may still be saved just because he seems to have a voting block behind him. We’re not sure, though, that we see some sort of Bristol Palin-esque run with him where he stays on the show until close to the end of the season.
We’ll learn what happens one way or another when the next Dancing with the Stars episode airs on Monday. For now, be sure to visit the link here to get some more discussion on this past elimination.
