Blue Bloods video: Donnie Wahlberg, cast celebrate 200 episodes!

Here, Tom Selleck, Donnie Wahlberg, Will Estes, Vanessa Ray, and others talk about being a part of this show and what it means to them. For Tom, he discusses how Magnum PI was such an enormous hit that it is now in the Smithsonian — yet, he’s actually done more episodes of this show! Meanwhile, Donnie discusses how it has brought new generations of fans to him beyond New Kids on the Block and Ray emphasizes how special this role is to her. She gets to work on a great set in New York, and play a character who she deeply admires.
One of the other things that we really like about this video is that it also features some of the younger actors discussing the experience growing up on this show — it constitutes a big chunk of their lives! It’s been life-changing for them, let alone for all of the crew.
As for the story of the big 200th episode, we’re going to see Jamie and Eddie look for a place to live together after coming back from their honeymoon. Meanwhile, Danny is going to be paid a visit by Maggie the psychic, while there is going to be a guest outside of the family at family dinner — a shocker perhaps larger than any other! That person is going to be Frank’s longtime friend Lenny (Treat Williams), who tends to show up whenever something has gone awry. (We like to think the two talk and hang out when things are going well too!)
