The Flash season 6 trailer: How is Nora Allen back?
Instead, the latest preview offers up a look at someone who looks remarkably like Barry’s late mother, though it feels fairly clear that we’re not seeing her come back from the dead. So what’s going on here? More than likely, we’re looking at a case here where she is an alternate version of the character — maybe she’s in a relationship with the Earth-3 Jay Garrick. Given that this character is played by John Wesley Shipp, that is what makes the greatest overall sense.
Aside from what we have coming up in terms of Nora Allen on season 6, the new episodes are also going to be offering up a great deal of drama in terms of Barry’s mortality. Much of the first half of this season is going to revolve around the buildup for Crisis On Infinite Earths. Barry knows that it is coming, just as he also knows that he is seemingly set to disappear as a part of it. He wants to figure a way to keep this from happening — if, of course, if such a thing is even possible.
There are also a myriad of other problems that are going to come colliding into the lives of these characters, with one of the biggest ones being what happens when Bloodwork enters the mix? This character is set to be the Big Bad for at least the first half of the upcoming season, and we gotta imagine that they are going to be the sort of person both ready and willing to cause about as much chaos as humanly possible. They also have a history with Caitlin Snow, so be prepared for his presence to raise some questions about an earlier part of her life — he could be an adversary for her in some way just as much as with Barry Allen.
