The Flash season 6 spoilers: How Killer Frost will play enormous role

You know that The Flash season 6 is going to be a big one for Caitlin Snow — she’s got a history with the Big Bad Bloodwork! To go along with that, though, it’s also going to be a good opportunity to also spend a good bit of time with one Killer Frost.

So what do we know about this character’s story arc? It starts with the premiere, as you will see the one-time villain go through what is a near-death experience. (Read more about that over at the link here.) From there, Caitlin’s second self will find herself in the midst of what may be an awakening/reawakening, one that causes her to question herself and better understand her further place within this world. In speaking on this more, show executive producer Eric Wallace said the following via TVLine:

“Killer Frost is going to explore her humanity in ways we haven’t seen before – and sometimes that means her being on the team more than Caitlin … That doesn’t mean Caitlin is gone — obviously she is integral to the story, because she has the connection to our Big Bad, Bloodwork (aka Dr Ramsey Russo).

“But some of the fun, some of the sadness, and some of the mysteries from Killer Frost’s past that we haven’t really been able to deal with, now we can.”

The idea of Killer Frost getting even more of a personal backstory should prove useful for filling out the show. Not only that, but also for giving Danielle Panabaker some more excellent material to work with. The idea of this “villain” learning more about her human side is fascinating given that for much of her life, she hasn’t had all that much of an opportunity in order to explore it. It’s almost now like a kid learning to ride a bike. There are rules and ways in which to be good that will allow her to tap into an unknown part of herself.

Now, let’s just hope that Killer Frost is able to move quickly on her understanding of the greater world. The rest of Team Flash is probably going to need for her to be together prior to the start of the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover event at the end of the year.
