The Masked Singer premiere: Ninja revealed inside Ice Cream Mask

The Masked Singer

On tonight’s premiere episode of The Masked Singer season 2, we had an opportunity to experience a number of interesting performances. To go along with that, we saw plenty of great characters, as well.

Tonight’s episode was different than most, thought, given that we were going to see was two different eliminations and unmasking moments. It’s these little moments that make the show so much fun, and we really were enjoying getting a chance to dive into it again.

At the end of the second hour of the show tonight, it was clear that the Ice Cream Mask was going to be unveiled … and it was Ninja inside! This was a big shocker. Why? A lot of it has to do with the simple fact that we’re talking here about an internet star being in there. He’s not someone a lot of older viewers would know, but for the younger crowd, this is a pretty big get for the show. He’s one of the most famous celebrities out there in the community.

The Ice Cream Mask tonight performed the big-time hit in “Old Town Road,” and we do think he showed some vocal pipes! Yet, at the same time it’s clear that Ninja isn’t a professional singer. That always makes it harder to move forward in the show when you have to compete against people who are, and also have a lot of history actually going on the stage. The only difference is that typically, these people aren’t wearing a ridiculous mask.

Now, Ninja certainly is going to have a lot to talk about in some of his streams moving forward.
