Ghost Rider series, with Agents of SHIELD actor, not happening at Hulu
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem as though there is going to be a continuation of the character on TV, after all. According to a report coming in via Deadline, the project is no longer going to be happening at the streaming service. What’s the reason for it? The site notes that there was a creative “impasse” that kept things from going forward.

Does this mean that we’re near the end of seeing Ghost Rider on television? Not necessarily, since we could easily see this character either going over to Disney+ down the road or in some motion picture or two. There’s no guarantee, though, that it will continue with the Luna version of Ghost Rider/Robbie Reyes that we’ve seen already.
Marvel and Hulu (which is under the Disney umbrella) will continue to have a partnership moving forward, and this potential series falling apart is not meant to be an indictment on that by any means. However, at the same time we do think that this is a missed opportunity for Hulu take advantage of a comic-book property that could’ve gotten them more mainstream fans. Ghost Rider is known all over the world. We’ll now have to see what else they’re developing, and in general, we’re so curious to see what the future holds for Marvel on TV with Disney+ connecting the MCU to other mediums in a way that they haven’t done so far. We have to think that the most-recent season of SHIELD, for example, wasn’t connected to Avengers: Endgame at all.
Agents of SHIELD will premiere its final season in 2020. If you want to get some more news all about that, remember to check out the link here.
