Outlander season 5 notes: A Sophie Skelton BTS photo and more
In a new post on Twitter (which we have for you to check out HERE), the show’s official account shared a fun photo of Skelton, standing next to who seems to be Sam Heughan with an enormous smile on her face. Judging from the fact that a person in the back seems to be on their phone, we can’t exactly say with confidence that this is a period-accurate picture. That’s always the fun part of photos like this — seeing the past meeting the present in weird, wonderful ways.
So what are we hoping to see when it comes to Jamie and Brianna on the upcoming season? Hopefully, more father/daughter bonding and opportunities to get past the case of mistaken identity at the heart of season 4. We think that there were some steps taken at the end of the season in order to ensure that they get more on the same page.

Check out a new “Heard on Set” quote via executive producer Matthew B. Roberts in a new post on his own Twitter. These are little teases made famous by Roberts’ fellow EP Maril Davis, and we haven’t had too many of them over the course of the season.
Does this tease give away much? Hardly, but it does show the lengths that the crew goes in order to ensure things are accurate. Sometimes, the dirt’s just gotta be good and dirty! It has to look like hundreds of people have trampled upon it with their 18th-century boots; nothing can be altogether clean and pristine within this world!
Hopefully, there are some more fun teases of this persuasion coming your way before too long.
