NCIS season 17 episode 2 preview: Ziva meets Bishop; a McGee reunion

Want to know what’s coming on NCIS season 17 episode 2? This is an episode entitled “Into the Light” that serves as a continuation of the Ziva arc that’s kicking off the season 17 premiere. This episode will give you a chance to see Cote de Pablo’s character around some familiar faces — take, for example, McGee! It’s also going to give you a chance to see Ziva meet Torres and Bishop for the first time — she’s had communication with Bishop, but never face to face. We are really excited to see this meeting since there’s a respect and a trust between these two agents and it’s a relationship we think will grow into something very special because of that. Bishop held onto a huge secret for Zvia and kept it from the team – a team that regards Ziva as more then just a past co-worker, but also as a friend and their family – that alone has bonded these two women together in a significant way.

So while we will be celebrating some of these encounters, at the same time you can’t forget about some of the high stakes that are out there threatening Ziva’s life and her happiness. A major threat is still out there, and that is a threat that is going to be hard for Gibbs and everyone else to take down.

“Into the Light” – With their lives in danger, Gibbs and Ziva’s rogue investigation takes an unexpected turn when a possible terrorist plot is revealed, on NCIS, Tuesday, Oct. 1 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Ziva’s story on NCIS this season will be far from over after episode 2 ends as episodes 3 and 4 (at least based on the info out there) will not feature Cote de Pablo in the flesh, but will continue on her story. We expect “Into the Light” to at least settle things enough for her to move into the next phase of her life for a little while. Rest assured, that moving into later this fall or early next year, you will get a chance to see the fan favorite character again for at least two more episodes. That means more chances to visit #ZivaTown and continue to enjoy her back on the show!
