Mayans MC season 2 episode 5 preview: Will Miguel’s secret stay hidden?

Entering Mayans MC season 2 episode 5, it’s pretty clear that history is going to be shredded into pieces. It’s no longer history at all. Instead, it is all in the present! This is an episode where a whole lot of stuff is going to come to light, and maybe that means the time will be right to understand further the history with Dita and Ignacio.

At the moment, these two remain some of the series’ most-interesting characters. Dita is someone who has been through so much already and from one standpoint, it seems like she’s ready to end it all. She was ready to die via the fire, but now, she’s happy to be alive. There is something more to fight for, and there is also the big, explosive secret that was revealed tonight: Miguel Galindo is actually Ignacio’s son. With that in mind, EZ and Angel are technically Miguel’s half-brothers, not that they are altogether familiar with this.

Here is the primary question worth wondering now: What is going to happen moving forward? Will this secret remain buried forever? We know that Emily’s suspicious of her mother-in-law already, and while Miguel may be somewhat distracted with what’s going on with Adalita, there could still be a time when he realizes more of what is right in front of him.

As for the Mayans themselves, let’s just hope that they can spend more time focusing on what matters here and a little less time dealing with the Swol Boys. There is something amusing with the idea of some hulking dude-bros as a lame biker gang, but they just don’t have the same sort of gritty appeal as the likes of SAMCRO and also the Mayans.
