Dancing with the Stars 28 results: Mary Wilson eliminated
With that in mind, who ended up going home? For the first time in a long time, tonight the ballroom competition decided to do something very different — the judges are having more of a say! America is voting on who they want to be in the bottom and yet, at the end of the night, the judges would choose from the bottom two. That makes a little more of a Dancing with the Stars environment that is (actually!) more about dance.

Going into tonight, we’ll admit that we were pretty worried about Lamar Odom — he’s not exactly a dancer, and that was made clear through most of what we saw from him. Yet, there were also some other dancers who may not have had the name recognition. There was a lot of mystery throughout the night as to whether or not the new format of the show would work.
So who ended up being in danger at the end? The final two were Ray Lewis and Mary Wilson, and that probably made this into an interesting choice. Mary is a music legend and, because of that and that alone, she had a good chance of sticking around. It was a shock seeing Ray in the bottom, if for no other reason than than NFL fans do have a tendency to vote hard for their stars. Yet, when the dust settled tonight, it was Mary Wilson who ended up being the first Star out of the competition.
