Power season 6 episode 6 preview: ‘Inside Man’; Tariq held hostage
On tonight’s episode, we saw the Starz drama remove another important character from its world in Joe Proctor. The attorney, (who we’ve interpreted at times to be almost the Power version of Saul Goodman), found himself cornered and shot down by Tommy tonight. Moving forward, Tommy may have to collaborate to an extent with someone he loathes in Ghost — heck, he was just there shooting up his place!

At the end of tonight’s episode, Ghost and Tommy learned that Vincent was ready to use them in order to get some money sent his way. If the two want to make sure Tariq is safe, they need money. Beyond just that, they need to find a way to take Vincent down. Does this mean that the band is getting back together? Think of this as a reunion concert a little bit more than a reunion tour.

Power season 6 episode 6 is going to be one of those episodes that rings true to some familiar themes. Think about the nature of “getting out of the game” — right when you think that you’re able to do it, something sucks you back in. For Ghost and Tasha both, it’s money issues. These are the things that are weighing both of them down, and we do wonder if this could be the thing that unifies each one of them in the weeks ahead.
