Empire season 6 premiere sneak peek: Is Tracy now in charge?

Just in case you wanted another reminder that there is all sorts of family drama coming within the Empire season 6 premiere on Fox, we come bearing more evidence!

So what are we talking about here? Just think in terms of a surprise co-owner of the company who is ready and willing to cause all sorts of drama. She makes her announcement to members of the board in the preview below (per TVLine), while at the same time Andre is trying to get the company on board with some of his latest ideas.

In case you’re wondering how or why in the world Tracy has so much control now, odds are this had a thing or two to do with what happened with Andre’s life being saved at the end of season 5. She had a chance to allow her late son’s heart to be used in a transplant, but she made it clear that if this was to happen, there were some other things that she would want as a result of that. This is something that could become pivotal to everything that transpires within the premiere … but it’s also probably not going to be resolved then, either. The safe assumption to make is that Tracy is going to interject herself into all sorts of stuff for some time moving forward and through that, she may get only more demanding if the Lyons want her to go away.

Since season 6 of Empire is the final one of the show, we have a feeling that it’s all going to be about legacy. Within these episodes, we’ll see what the Lyons do to cement their future … or also what they do in order to mess it up. In some shape or form, we feel like both of these scenarios is very well possible.
