NCIS: New Orleans season 5 premiere sneak peek: Hannah vs. the FBI
In the new sneak peek below, you can get a good sense of what we’re talking about. It’s fairly clear within here that Hannah and some of NCIS is working with the FBI on a joint mission in order to stop a stolen Navy bomb from causing all sorts of carnage. However, someone did escape from a scene with a bomb, and the FBI is blaming Hannah for it on the other side. Why do that? Much of it has to do with her decision to prioritze saving lives of two women who she believes can provide important information. These women may be the key to the metaphorical kingdom! If they can give some more news on what’s going on in this case, their survival will prove to be a big break.

Yet, it is the way in which it happens that could cause some problems for Hannah. Based on some of the promotional material that is out there, it’s looking as though the character could face some sort of suspension as a result of her decisions out in the field. That’s without even talking about hurting her relationship with the FBI in the moment. We don’t think that the character is going to be out of the loop forever — after all, would the writers really choose to eliminate a character from the picture who we have just gotten to know over the course of the past year?
