Supernatural season 15 premiere spoilers: ‘Back to the Future’!

In naming the Supernatural season 15 premiere “Back to the Future,” clearly the producers are out to get us to do our Doc Brown impression as much as possible. This should mark a fun beginning to a fun arc of episodes, ones that feature adventure, drama, and of course Sam and Dean having to round up a lot of demons and monsters that are back on Earth from Hell. They thought that they had done so much good work, only for Chuck to come through and erase a whole lot of it. Curses to Chuck!

Anyhow, this upcoming October 10 episode will give you a sense of what the newest iteration of the series is going to look like — we wouldn’t say that it’s going to offer up a whole lot when it comes to closure, but it will put you on the path to getting there. THE BEGINNING OF THE END – Picking up here we left off last season, Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins) are left to defend the world after all the souls in hell have been released and are back on Earth and free to kill again. John Showalter directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb (#1502). Original airdate 10/10/2019.

What will make this episode especially exciting to us is getting a chance to learn precisely who could be coming back as the show looks to unearth/explore what happens next on Earth. We know that there are some returns that have already been announced, but it wouldn’t surprise us in the slightest that there are some other secrets that the folks at The CW are burying as long as possible. What better way to drum up intrigue? (Granted, there should already be PLENTY of intrigue — we’re talking about a show that is currently airing its final batch of episodes.)
